Horrible german (pc) traslation (made up words/ words with diffrent meaning)

I played the demo and loved the game (english version) The german traslation however is horrid. Because the german language is not "inclusive" enough, they just used made up words.

Especially weird to translate monks (only men) to "Ordensleute" wich is sth. completly different. Why is not tjhe term "Mönch" used ?

The main problem is that words like "Ordensleute" (Monks) or "Tieflandbewohn(ende)er" (Lowlanders) dont really exist in the german language, or even have different meanings.

Im extremly glad the english vesion is not trying the same thing, as it would ruin the atmosphere.

I dont understand why the translator felt the need to rewrite the german language in such a nice game - terrrible chocie

The game looks interesting, but I have better things to do than let my fun be spoiled by this bastardization of the german language.

I just switched languages to check. It is still "Ordensleute", "Tiefelandbewohnende" etc.

I am for freedom of speech. Where exactly do I say something, that could be interpreted as an attack on it?

So, freedom of speech is then given, if it's representing your opinion. Great definition.

Not playing a game because it's bad translated is nothing new. A lot of people didn't but C&C Generäle, because a mission or campaign left. Some people didn't buy soldier of fortune, because they replaced humans with robots (wtf?). And to give you an example of a bad translation: The first new Wolfenstein series (The new orders), all Nazi symbols were replaced with something else and you fought against "The regimn".
So censorship is nothing new. Calling monks not monks and calling them instead different destroys the feeling of the game.

and that's a good reason not to buy it or to play it. It was already the same in the past.
