Character Creation

Is there character creation in this game or are you limited to premade characters?

We want to open-up the diversity of ways to play the game as much as possible. So far, we've been focusing on classes diversity, magic items diversity and the countless ways you can combine them to characters/classes, but we'd also like to push the ways we can build characters.

Right now, character building is mostly done through skill choice on level-up, skills upgrades and choice of gears, but we'd like to expand that with a competences/feats system and a races system. We'd also like to give some visual diversity for same-class characters down the road.
