Full Controller Support
The game has 'partial controller support'. Can you at least give this 'full controller support' so we don't have to worry about controllers not working? Hook into Steam Input API if you can't do it yourself.

Like currently this looks way too low-effort at the store page. This sh*t is considered mandatory in this day and age so it's baffling seeing an asterisk * next to contollers.

Hi!
Thank you for your contact.
The game will be fully playable with a controller.
We add the 'partial controller support' feature to our games where players can use either the controller or the keyboard
Thank you.

Hi there,

You are labelling it incorrectly. Games that don't support keyboard actually have this notice:

'Notice: <Game name here> requires a controller in order to play. Playing with a keyboard and mouse isn't supported.'

E.g. See this game's notice, right above the 'Download' demo green button: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1851610/River_Tails_Stronger_Together/

You need to label your game with 'Full Controller Support' to avoid losing customers. I don't want to find out some of my controllers don't work. Please hook your game into Steam Input API to cover all controllers, thanks.

Hi!
Happy Friday!
Thank you for your feedback. We'll share it with the team for consideration. <3

Thanks. You are just losing out on potential customers currently and that's over something that your team has perhaps misunderstood.

There's really no reason not to make the change (apart from losing out on sales)!

What's this then you bloody liars?

Hi!

We are sorry for our misscommunication. The game will only be playable with a controller.

When we saw the "Partial Controller Supprt" tag we understood that both options were available, as it had allways been, but the reason it is this way is because Steam has changed the form about that support. So, we've tried to say that a controller is required, but in the form we have been honest and we can't say that controllers other than the Xbox controller are fully supported, because we do all our testing with the Xbox controller. We know that players use other controllers in our games with no problem, but as mentioned, we did not want to respont to the form with false information to get the "Full Controller Support" tag, and for this reason, the Partially supported tag.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you for the information. Releasing a game on PC without supporting the platform's native input devices is puzzling, but the clear communications are most welcome.

Releasing a game for PC without supporting Mouse and Keyboard ?

What a stupid decision was this ?
Well, you will see how sales will be affected by yourself.

Not that I like keyboard+mouse controls being left out, but this is absolutely nothing special anymore. Even a few high-profile games have only gamepad controls. The company behind this game must've looked at the numbers and came to the conclusion that it wouldn't be financially benefical to spend time on keyboard+mouse controls, simple as that.
