How do you get the otter and turtle to visit?

Hey! I am just wanting to get the last two achievements which are getting a visit from turtles and otters. I am level 35 which seems to be the maximum. Any idea how to get these events to happen? :)

Animals open up at ranks. Otter is around rank 33 I think? If not then a bit higher up.
It took me almost 6hours to get the last one (otter) to arrive. So if you are early in the game, keep clearing area, placing things with variety so your rank goes up. Don't forget about the insects

Hey! So I am at the max rank (35) and about 6 hours in too. I have at least 2 of every item, including the decorations and insects (insects I think I have 4 of each). But still no otter :(

I have same problem. I am max level and still no otter.

I had to relaunch the game a few times before he arrived for me. Was tedious but it worked after a few relaunches! Hopefully that works for you too!
