The digital edition has a campaign mode, and a less developed tomb. The art has been partially overhauled already. The rest will come in an update. Our IOS version has been distracting the programmer.
While the boardgame is taking off, the digital game has unfortunately been buried by the Steam algorithm. A Steam games success is usually tied to it's launch and no amount of updates will pull it out of obscurity. Unless the mobile versions do extremely well, other than minor updates, development may end after the graphical overhaul.
The campaign mode is pretty huge though. It eases you into the game mechanics and provides many hours of game-play.
The game is a ton of fun, but the reality of the Steam algorithm is brutal. While I would love to have this updated to 2E, I understand why it's not worth it.
