0.9.2 Beta Version
So, I did choose the Farmer Perk in the beginning and shouldnt the Farmland Output be like 40/s with this Perk? Or did the Base Output got changed and I just did not read it anywhere?

how do i get access to the beta branch ?

The farm in question only has 1 bonus mark on it it needs 2 marks to get the +10/sec bonus.
The bonus marks are the gold + marks.
The bonus perk only changes the base amount not the bonus marks so you will only get +30 food instead of +40 food (10 food base + 10 food perk + 10 food bonus )
Change the forest to a farm to get the food bonus or change the farm to a forest to get the wood bonus.

My 2 cents on the Beta version:
- lovely improvements
- balancing required
- map is still a bit unpolished - i have conquered, done everything i can do on the map and still lack the last age of the whole research tree. The last part of the research tree seems pointless? Why do i need the improvements? Just to get some autonomy to fully beat the inquisition.
- Heros are sort of often overpowered (maybe that´s intended) - Leonidas is my personal favorite and since i am using his Spartians ... no crisis is any challenge anymore. I don´t need ressources i have 100-120 Militia Soldiers, doing 1200 - 1600 dmg each.
In Example the World War required 9 out of my 126 Militia to finish the game basically, didn´t even see what happened cause the auto-fight blew right through it.

Auto-Fight - why do we have that? I understand - the battles get "boring" after a while and tedious. This could indicate a potential flaw in the game mechanics when it becames repetitive and the same over and over again?

Potentially it´s due to me, having optmized heros already for my playstyle but - the biggest difficulty was growing in early stages. I barely could get to the first 1000 - 2000 population and then it started to snowball.

+ a couple of new achievements like:
500k population
1 mio population
2 mio population
5 mio population

i am right now finetuning to see how much population i can reach with the current map when optimizing a bit. Calculations show me roughly 16 mio people.

went up to 23 Mio and still growing, the food did hard snowball and the auto-build mechanism can´t keep up with it, causing a few crisis to go through because ... it only builds new housing. And with 2-3 mio vagabond, no new units get bult = crisis causes more issues.

Gold is also snowballing, my treasury can store ~5500 money and i have 117.

I also am trying to see how far I can grow population. Right now I am at 115 million, and I think I can go twice as far. The real problem is the steps I have to take not to go into millions of vagabonds when I do the next leap in food production.

Why bother with Vagabonds? They just give a risk of a Crisis - and at this point you should be sufficient in Military to just swipe everything away automatically without paying attention?
