It gets annoying and lame spending 8 minutes per quest waiting for them to finish, and they make enough of a difference that sometimes it is required. It'd be better if the game was just like "yeah you've done this quest 2 times, from now on when you reset a run it's auto finished".
Considering that you have to do 10 or even 20 quests at 8 minutes of waiting a pop, you're looking at spending literal hours doing the same d*mn thing you've already done.
I'm okay with doing that at the start of a run for my civilization, but having to do it for quests too is just annoying.
Overall I'd say the experience is a 6/10, whether that's worth $26 AUD is up to you.
Hopefully the dev will patch this and adjust it but I'm not holding my breath.
I prefered the demo's handling of it, if you got in over your head by doing 50 quests at once that was on you.
You guys are aware that you can speed up to 400% right?
At the current insane price point. absolutely not
It's alright, but paying 15€ for a clicker still feels like a mistake.
