Any plans for a mode without all the clicking?
Seems like a good game to kill some but the clicking just isn't for me anymore.

Well it IS a clicker game so not sure I can promise much. But a set of features will be added to the full game version to choose your playstyle more distinctively - strategy oriented, idle or clicker.

Gaining items that can stun the crisis along with buying 10-20 stacks of wood resource with gold can eliminate almost all the clicking eventually.

Doesn't hurt to ask :D.

That will most likely help, I will check the game again once it releases to see the gameplay

As far as the clicking goes, I love the game but it's unhealthy for me. The incremental increases are great but having an option or ability the makes it less clicky for a trade off would be great.

Agreed. Also someone in this community suggested accessibility features for clicking, so I am going to add those as well (not yet decided how exactly but playing in my mind with several options).

Maybe just a hover over that gradually gets exponentially faster.
Creates dynamic cps, whilst still allowing the risk reward of fire click chance if greedy.
Something like

1.25cps^x
where x is seconds of current hover

Hmmmm this is also an interesting inspiration for a Hero Corruption effect :)

That does sound good... I like this heroes so far.
The hover mechanic would solve the, ahem, exploit I may or may not be using to turn everything into farms. Which is the +- on the numpad adjusts game speed allowing you fill up your boosts or get much more "clicks per second". With a hover mechanic you can have it adjustable but tie "clicks per second" to game speed, removing that exploit.

Seconded. As a fan of idle/clicker games on mobile, I really like the spin this game offers on the genre, but all the clicking is hurting my finger. For some reason, Razer's macro module doesn't work with this game and 3rd party macro programs make it too complicated to setup a simple autoclicker, so that kinda spoils the fun for me. Maybe there could be an upgrade after ascension to make it so you can just hold the mouse button or something? Idk, I just don't think the pain is worth it.

Repetitive injuries are one of the most common debilitating injuries today. Clicking and holding, hovering ect. all would work just as good with lest chance of injury. People are always going to "cheat" or otherwise find exploits but the heat system is the best answer for that I have ever seen. Gives incentive to pay attention and involved when questing or just play the long game without. I find the built in auto clicker Heroes not worth bothering with, keeps heat up but doesn't deliver enough to be worth it. If they sped that up it may be worth considering as a positive.

Yep the current autoclick heroes aren't very good. It's going through some redesign and rebalancing

It's great to see that you are willing to engage and possibly change a bit of the game to help those that enjoyed the game but can't be clicking all the time even though the game is a clicker
Ondrej Homola  [developer] Aug 22, 2023 @ 3:12am
Yep, it is not intended to keep players clicking all the time. The full game will have more options to abandon the need for clicking through playstyle choice (mostly manifested through hero build selection).

The demo has a stronger bias to clicking since it is the start of the game - which often is more manual oriented for the sole reason of giving players the base incentive for automation.

You have provided a mechanic to prevent "overclicking". How about a Hold feature that clicks at a fairly high rate if holding the mouse, like 5-10 clicks per second. (You could click slightly faster manually/with a clicker).

This would allow a gameplay around those bursts and active selection, while still be locked within the overheating mechanic, and those of us that like our fingers/mice to stay functional does not need extra apps for it.

Yep that sounds reasonable. Similar ideas were mentioned in other thread as well.
