How do you refill the rus-310 with a jerry can?

I made a mistake and ran out of gasoline between magyarfulu and lupova, walked to buy fuel and back. However I cant seem for the life of me to refill the trucks tank with my jerry can, i've tried every position I could think of. I'm sure i'm just missing something

Both jerry can and the fuel tank cap have to be removed and the jerry can have to be tilted upside down. There is a Tutorial menu in the Main menu that has a video and text how to do it.
