Brakes wont work

my brakes wont work with the truck ive started with im using also a sterring wheel and i put every sensetivity up for brakes and such but still nothing my save is from 2023 so i dont know if thats a update bug and i have to start a new? please help

If you haven't played since the latest update, brakes were added as their own separate component. Its not a bug, but existing saves had the brakes built into every vehicle disabled, you have to take a bus to a town (Sterlikin or Novercherkuta for the most part) and buy brakes , then fit them behind the left wheel of your vehicle.
