Please, please ... pretty please. As a big cat lover I NEED this to be on my favorite store. Already own purring quest and this one looks just amazing and exactly my type of game. Try to bring it to GOG and we will make sure to tell GOG that GOG customers want to have it there as well :)

Unfortunately GOG in its infinite stupidity (my personal opinion) rejected "Stars in The Trash" so it will not be released there and for other reasons it also won't come to itch.io. However I bought the Steam release today myself and noticed that it is DRM-free if you add a "steam_appid.txt" file in the installfolder with the number 1822240 in it. With this you don't need to use the client anymore and you also don't need to be offline. I tried it myself. I also like to add that the game absolutely is worth it for every cat lover. I grew up with a cat and this might be the best cat like behaviour simulator I've ever played and it is so well and lovingly animated that I can't stop smiling when playing it. So if you don't reject Steam completely this might be an alternative.

Woah dang, that's unfortunate news :/ Where was that announced? I'm not seeing anything about it on their Twitter or Bluesky :o

Also thank you for confirming that there's no DRM on here. That's something of a solution ^^

It was not announced anywhere. I asked Valhalla Cats about the release and they told me that they were rejected.
