Is it just me or does the world map not make much sense?
First of all, I LOVE this game! Might be my GOTY, although it's only Feb. 😤 A big shout out to the dev for making this happen!

Not sure if anyone mentioned this before but whenever I looked at the world map during interludes I couldn't help but think it was weird. E.g. there are only mountains between Valjord and Fern, yet we have not bandits but vikings. And there is a (seemingly) small lake sitting in the middle of the continent, but in the middle of the game we experienced a lightning storm there.

Not trying to complain or anything but just found it's interesting and would like to bring it up.

The inner sea does look tiny.
As for Valjord, I don't see any problem. Why wouldn't they raid by sea? It allows going much farther away than using mountains.

I will admit the "Great Sea" does look a little small in the map. It is meant to be quite large, about the size of something like "Lake Michigan" in the United States, which can get pretty heavy lightning storms. I think the map does look fairly small though, and in the next game I'll probably hire a more professional map maker than trying to do it myself by hand. Though it was a lot of fun!
