Edit - Upon loading the save after the soft lock, I am randomly getting soft locked after taking certain units turns. I think it might be a problem with the save/load system.
Found another bug,
Game got stuck after fighter talked with no dialogue (prob the pirates that get out of the pub in chapter 3)
Ps I skipped some chapters bcs of demo maybe that's why?
This could be a resolution bug. I tried my best to support higher resolutions but most of my testing was done on 1080p. If you send me a screenshot of what you're seeing and your monitor resolution to eturulja@thosewhorule.com I'll track it as a bug and try to get a fix out for it asap. I'm surprised you'd still see the issue in windowed mode though. The character portraits should definitely not be cut off, that's a bug. If you set to windowed mode, save, and re-launch the game do you still see the issue?
Hmmm you shouldn't be able to skip any chapters because of the demo, the saves are named differently. But that's very interesting it was able to do it as it'll save me some headache in re-enabling the demo. Can you sent your resolution and a screenshot to me at eturulja@thosewhorule.com for the conversation size issue. Thank you for taking the time to report this!!
Okay, so I set it window mode, saved, then re-launch game, still an issue. Then I realized, likely the problem is the fact that I am on a ultra wide monitor. I noticed that the borders on each side had some sort of weird cut off, so I adjusted the window size to those borders, saved, re-launched, and boom looks like its fixed. The UI size looks normal now and the characters aren't cut off.
So I believe the issue is the fact that I use ultra wide + resolution not supported here. Resolution is 2560x1080.
Also, small typo on Thrillbeat. The "f" in for is missing.
Am I posting on this thread too much? Would you rather me just wait until I have 5 bugs saved up and then post them all, or is 1 at a time okay?
Again, thank you for the feedback!
Trying to complete bonus objectives with Cedric to use salvation 3 times. I used it on a bandit archer that had a loot icon on it that was below 50% life. never got credit for it and was not able to do anything but end my turn. Had to completely restart the game to get controls of my army working again. It also happened again with one of the bandits with a food icon as well.
Update:
Doesn't seem to just be salvation. Melee attacks on the female archer with the food icon at the entrance to the cave are causing the game to bug out. It freezes but you can still go around the map but not command or do anything. Music still plays.
Slyker and Elias acted like I killed them all, they never mentioned the priest's plan. I did have the reward conversation between Slyker and Kaelith though.
Local save location: C:\Users\{your_username}\AppData\LocalLow\eBrothers LLC\Those Who Rule\thoseWhoRuleSaveFinalV1_{X}.es3 (Where 'X' is the save slot, 0 if it's a mid-battle "continue save").
That is strange then, the number is clearly saved correctly if you got the conversation, but it looks like for some reason it didn't register in time for the conversation.

Related Feedback: Is there a 'Rotate Screen' button? I'm not sure how hard that is to implement, but the reason I had to quit in the middle of the mission was that a building was blocking my view (the ones to the right at the start of the mission) and there was NO indication that there were 'hidden' tiles that could be traversed. No pathing highlights on either side, no visible tiles, nothing. Enemy Greatsword wielder just walked right behind my lines and double backstabbed me, killing two of my characters. Please implement a way to make it clear where tiles are located. It doesn't have to be a 'Rotate Screen' option, but it's silly that I have to restart the entire mission because I literally cannot see where the tiles due to object obfuscation.
Other than that, really enjoying the game so far!
And I think I know the tiles you're talking about in the right side of the map. No option to rotate right now, but I'm going to go ahead and disable those tiles because you're right you don't have a great indication that they can be traversed besides moving the cursor onto them. With the 3D isometric style I went with, it's something I tried to watch out for while designing the maps. Generally it should be if you can't see the tile, you can't move onto it, but that obviously slipped through.
Thanks again for the feedback and support!
