hilda how do you recruit

how do you recruit hilda? forgot the chapter but i managed to get quincy who is at the bottom boat. hilda is at the top boat. do i need ajax or someone else to talk to her? in my last playthrough i think i ran out of time. maybe one more turn and i could of talked to her. was too focused on getting chests.

also is there a list of recruitable characters in game?

i played the game several times before realizing i kept forgetting to get the skill ring. thus another playthough. then would miss a chest here or sidequest there. another playthough i saved quincy but she ran away. thus another playthrough. then i realized i forgot finn and melanie. never knew you could recruit them. first time with finn i set him up for easy kill left mob with 10 health he hits for 8 dmg and in return gets one shot dead. thought he was bad but little did i know he turns into a beast later on haha luckily i gave him another chance.
then forgot to get sven. i had to choose different endings at end to see what differences were.

i know i'm missing several but there is also wesly. i could of swore i saw a 40 percent xp aura last week now its 20 percent? or maybe i'm going crazy. i know talon and ajax. i know the poison guy that is also a healer probably my favorite character now outside of finn and melanie. and shiva who is good. salvadore who is also good. and then joran at 28. i know i'm missing a few characters early on. cassidy etc.

one of the early missions i let someone escape the estate then he shows up next chapter. i used the cedric salvation ability on him wasn't sure if he was recruit-able or not. forgot guys name.

love the game. very addicting. in a good way.

A lot of what you're noticing is based on your story decision choices, which you may inadvertently be skipping if you're skipping character dialogues before/after chapters to play through faster again:

Hilda's recruitment requires sparing Sven when given the choice to intervene with Reyson or not.

Wesley's personal skill depends on whether you choose "Surrender" or "Draw Weapon" in the prologue. "Draw Weapon" results in "Price of Defiance: 40% exp aura but needs the Prosthetic Hand item to use bows", "Surrender" results in "Diplomat: 20% exp aura"

I've changed my view a bit, and I now think letting Wesley lose his hand is the better overall alternative.
