Shame theres no special interaction if you beat the knight commander guy chasing you in the market mission (spoilers)

Was just thinking its a bit of a shame as his stats are very high. I managed to get my steel tower shield wielding knight on one of the bridges taunting him, and then had a few axe weilders go around the back and clean up his escort, then finally, warhammer backstab (since thats a thing lol) him down.

Would have been interesting to have it acknowledged in conversation even if it doesnt give you a reward.

Agreed. As it stands, there are no death quotes or consequences even for your own unit deaths. I think this is something the dev is planning to add to the story update soon. But he also said he would increase Rickard's stats in ch8 and ch9, cuz he didn't expect people would be beating him as it was haha

In my defense, I really wasn't expecting people to be able to defeat him that early on. But you give people an "impossible" task and they'll overcome it. I'll be looking into adding death quotes in the story patch, and I'll get one in for him as well. At least a little bit of acknowledgement of overcoming the challenge.

Yesh I don't think defeating him should change the story, that's waaaaay to involved.

Maybe just a "You got lucky here, but I'll be back"
