Why was the Kickstarter project canceled if it reached its goal?
And besides, does anyone know if there will be support for other languages?

They released a statement on the Kickstarter page. They will reopen the Kickstarter when they get things sorted.

The team basically folded, so they didn't feel right taking money. Its kind of nice to have that honesty to not run away with the money for a representation that didn't hold out, but I do wish we could still have seen the project go forward under ideal conditions. They'll do another funding campaign when things are reformed or ready again.

Yeah, I was kinda shocked too.

Apperantly, the moment kickstarter gathered it's base founding goal, some people that worked on a Demo left the dev team. I am not sure if this is true, but I have heard that combat codder, music composer and even main character voice actor left the team. Again, I am not sure if this is true or not, but I would not be surprised if it was true.

The message was basicaly that all of the sudden lead Dev was not sure if they will be able to deliver the product they promised in the kickstarter campaign, so that is why they decided to cancel it before the system will charge people's money.

I apprieciete honesty and transparecy here. Whatever happened must have been severe and must have had a good reason, but I would not want to look into people's private decisions. It is what it is.

But hey, I am wating for another Spyro like / Spiritual Successor for like 16 years, so I guess I can wait a bit more lol.

People leaving the product at a stage like that is kinda a red flag usually though too.

I wouldn't say that, depends on the circumstances. If its a furry development team, furry drama probably happened. You know we're famous for it after all. Fighting over the stupidest of things. :P
still waiting to
