How long is this game?

I gotta say that I really, REALLY want to play this game just by seeing the trailer and gameplay, which looks just cute and cozy. But I read before that the game has an average playtime of 4 hours, which wouldn't just be enough for the price for me personally.
Is this true? Or is there more to do? Any grind to tackle?

I thought it was around 3-4 hours. I played the demo it was really good and relaxing but the problem with the demo was after playing for 1-1.5 hours the NPCs ran out of tasks for me and there was nothing to do. I went around the island to all NPCs and not one NPC spoke to me as I had done everything

I purchased the title today as it was on special for $22.12, I still think thats expensive for early access

It was pretty good when I played it, relaxing take your time game no time limits or beat a clock which was good

I have 14 hours between 2 plays, 1 just story and secondary quest-based (around 5 hours to complete), and then another one doing all the secondary stuff there were coming out. (idols collection, skins, cats, races, and last (for now), fishes)
