I'm genuinely flabbergasted that you didn't enjoy World Tour mode or the character creator. Practically don't believe you.
I didn't even play world tour. i just did online matches for a while and decided the game wasnt for me. I tell myself I might buy and try it again if Makoto is ever added to the roster.. but thats a big maybe even if she ever does ever make the cast. heck, her being added to the game is very improbable in itself. I still like to watch tournys and stuff on twitch, i just didnt find joy in playing it like i did usf4.
MK1, SF6, Tekken 8, and every smash clone all have better versions of the game already out there. Why would i play mk1 when mk9 was way better? or sf6 when 3rd strike and sf4 was way better?
This game turns away people because of the horrible hitboxes, the disconnects, and the absolute atrocious monetization.
Yeah, so for that alone, I don't think I can even compare SF6 MK1 or Tekken 8 to Multiversus. they are all games that actually deliver on the promise of purchased items, and these games and dev teams don't have any issues with committing Fraud, Breaking Consumer Practice Law, breach of contract, or anything else.
when choosing a favorite fighting game, usually i'd say it's up to personal preference. but in this case, Multiversus is levels beneath all others for their sumbaggery.
