offline characters

In their blog post, it says that on May 30th a save file will be created with whatever content you unlocked by that point.

Well no matter. Its an UE5 game so highly moddable. Modders will unlock the content.

Local play lets ypo play with all characters, doesn't it? So i would assume that would still apply

They didn't say explicitly. It simply said, "all unlocked contents will go to your local save file."

So this is half-ass answer with no clear indication on whenever if all characters are unlocked or not.

We need actual answer from the devs. Somebody need to tweet the devs.

I only played closed beta and instantly dropped when they slowed the game down.
I won.

An empty victory though because this game should have been the ultimate game yet it was not.

What content/modes will be available offline for MultiVersus after Season 5?

After Season 5, players will have an option to enjoy MultiVersus offline via the local gameplay mode, either solo against A.I. opponents or with up to three players, as well as the training mode (The Lab), with all characters unlocked and playable.

Alll the characters are already available in local play.

All the skins should be available for local play. In fact, they should have made all those skins unlockable in offline and sell them/make you earn them to use online, but these dudes are dumb af. I hope the modding community returns and make this game actually good with dedicated servers.
