so in theory someone would just need to datamine all item ids and then post a catalogue of them somewhere so that everyone else can just copypaste them into their save
Give it some time and people will figure out a simple way to edit / modify saves to have everything unlocked. Someone has already done it by editing the save file as a json file and back.
Have a little patience, that's all.
Okay, I tried this to add a few banners (I tried with banners because they follow a simple naming convention in the files)...and it worked! Actually, I didn't get the Downloading TNJ.EXE banner to work, but it probably uses a slightly different name. It should be relatively trivial to add variants too, but the tricky bit will be finding out their file names.
Edit: did a bit of data diving and was able to find some file names for the skins. Gave one a try and it was successfully added to the game. It'll take a heck of a while to go through them all and find out which ones work, but it's a start. Shame we don't seem to have a comprehensive list of skins out there. The fandom page seems to be missing a bunch of stuff.
