marvel rivals is so much better than multi-lossus , its not even fair how bad they dropped the ball with making a temu smash bros wanna-be, while marvel rivals is an original & fresh high quality IP with a much better roster of heroes beyond batman and superman. get it together WB and stop ruining once great franchises like Batman & mortal kombat.

I actually do like Marvel more than DC, but saying that Rivals is "an original and fresh IP" is just wrong. The fact that people consider a game using already established characters in a decade-old genre as "original and fresh" is why we can't have nice things.

You can't seriously call a complete and utter rip-off of Overwatch "original and fresh".

Multiversus has a lot of flaws...a lot of flaws...a ridiculous amount of flaws, but you're making a nonsense argument if you're trying to call Marvel Rivals original. Netsleaze just made a reskinned Overwatch, at least Multiversus has some degree of originality.

Multiversus just made a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ version of smash bros, not exactly original lmao

Multiversus isn't terribly original, but it isn't a complete and utter clone (though now that they added shields, closer to it). It has some unique mechanics that Smash doesn't have, it also has a focus on teamwork and character interactions.

Rivals offers nothing that Overwatch doesn't already have and that Overwatch does better. I still play Rivals over Overwatch because I like being Marvel characters, but the game is lawsuit worthy.

Jeff is like, literally the only character in that game so far that wasn't created in the 50's-70's captain "original and fresh".

Nickel for everytime spiderman one-ups someone who grossly outpowers him, I ♥♥♥♥'n swear; such original and fresh writing, man. How about Spidey loses a loved one, and then he goes all grimdark-edgy! Damn, that's so original and fresh...

Can't blame Multiversus crap choice of heroes to add on DC's lineup and originality. The option for the Devs to add Lobo, Atomic Skull, Static Shock-, a ton of cool and interesting heroes, was always there and it isn't on DC-; it's on Player First Games. They wanted banana guard over any of them.

Originality needs to be in the gameplay...not the characters they pick.

Also Luna Snow is 2018, Peni Parker is 2014.

But uh, classic characters are what most people want from a long-running company. I don't give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about Luna Snow, I never even heard of her until I played Rivals. I want Gambit, I want Blade(which he's in the leaks so I might get that wish), I want Morbius just so I can make Morbin' time jokes.

Marvel Rivals is quite literally an Overwatch clone. It's not even close to an original idea. A lot of the same concepts in Rivals already exist in Overwatch, all the way down to the game modes. Like sure, there are some things that are unique like Jeff's ultimate, but for the most part a lot of it is pretty similar.
