Yes. There is always AT LEAST one complete set (Skin, Weapon, Wrap, Emote, Glider), that's not to mention all the small things you get. Usually at the end of the seasonal questline. or sometimes just for random side quests.
If you want to get technical also, everything after the season you bought the battlepass is free, since you always get the next battlepass, from the currency of the current battlepass. Heck you could even be like "nah i don't want this season's pass" and not buy it, then come back the next season or the season after that or 5 years later and still be able to get the pass.
So you are saying the devs are working for free? Got it.
Yeah it's a real shame, Epic doesn't make a single dollar from Fortnite.
It's surprising that they even stay online to be honest. It doesn't make them millions of dollars a day. Such a shame to see them work so hard for free.
and poor people make the majority of the world and do most of the work while being underpaid., Seems fair the billions of humans in the world as a majority being overworked while a few thousand humans make all the wealth.
According to you they don't earn anything but give everything back. Your assertion.
Not sure why you people compare business models like that. It is not like MV offers anything besides a couple of skins for money. Their business model clearly revolves around making reliable income from the battle pass. Accept it and move on.
No my assertion is that they have a better monitizations model and battlepass that this game should try to adapt something closer to it to keep the players engaged in and not try to go for a short-term moneygrab and try to focus on the long term player retention because that is what will make them the most money in the end AND will make the playerbase the happiest.
If their business model is to make reliable income from the battlepass, then it failed in my case because i went in wanting to get it, saw it and went 'nah'.
I want virtual skins and stuff, that's the real fun.
Your assertion is an opinion because we don't know yet how MV will do in the future. You don't like it for arbitrary reasons. I get it. I don't care. I like it the way it is with the exception of the skin price model.
Your second paragraph is anecdotal evidence and neglectable. And we already know that they couldn't give a crap about you not buying it because you would've wanted the currency back anyway. You basically want it for free. That's not failing on their part but on your logic's.
I don't see how this is "done right"? Who is to say what's right and wrong when people clearly buy the battle pass. You might as well just make everything cost 25% less instead of giving back 1/4 of the currency spent. But you cannot compare prices across games anyway.
theyre exceeding that now, with the new live concerts they started doing, and all that cross promotions =- yeah.
the devs to fortnite make mad bank.
do you all know that the game is still in beta and they are figuring things out?
or the fact that they may need money to provide a live services with frequent updates?
also i am pretty sure making new content cost money.
it is with certainty that PFG have the same income flow that epic games have or even activision.
But if every complainee would cut 1 twitch thot from his payroll, he would totally be able to afford a BP every 3 months.
