It's going to be the sleazier, myopic version of that.
Only?
Do you remember the last Smash game? They had one new, fighter each 3-4 months (with an, already, fixed number of fighters, to add), but, back then, nobody find them taking too much time for their game.
How many characters did Smash launch with vs how many characters are in Multiversus?
More now than Melee and less than Brawl.
Well knowing WB, next thing you will know is that they'll have Starfire in Season 6 and you will have to have 3 battle passes to get to her.. now that's sleazier than the whole 2 battle passes in a season thing.. but at least season 4 will be 10 weeks long..
Also when a season is over, they really need to lower the Number of Player todkens you need to unlock a new character..
Though I will say for Season 3, the PPG is a must, though I am rather intrigued they brought in Nubia (From the Wonder woman Mythos..) Looks itertsting to say the least...)
But yeah this is slowly becoming a cash grab in my eyes.. and I'm a casual player really.. Oh well, until they give us something that a lot of people want, then I'll just take my time..
People here complain when the characters are too powerful or too weak but yet want them released more frequently. You can only expect so much.
