$10 for the standard, $20 for the one that has a bunch of unlocks. You don't use gems, you use real money only.

According to the Multiversus Wiki, it costs 950 Gleamium, though if you do get the Premium Pass and get all the Gleamium rewards through it, you'll have 1000 Total which is enough to buy the next pass for no additional cost

i dont think this is true. you have to buy gems to buy anything in this game. 20 dollars is for if you want to skip levels.
