That's ridiculous.
There's a salt emote but not a toast emote. Sorry you're offended by the observation.
There is actually a toast emote.
On the battlepass?
Try not being so mad.
like just get over it lol, maybe play something else or take a walk and cool off
its a typical bait thread. the OP isnt "salty" about anything.
it's a fighting game that is inherently competitive in nature. they are taunting you into a rematch. i remember sitting around pass and playing with friends playing fighting games and even the nicest of us would talk some crap without being what is now considered "toxic". some taunting and gloating about beating a friend or stranger is just encouraging them to not get beat again, do better. if there was some in game chat and they were attempting to say mean stuff through chat i would understand that behavior is not good for the online community.
good sportsmanship should still be applied, just ragging on someone wouldn't be cool but i see no problem with some emote being used at end of match especially when this game has no actual chat for anyone to say anything toxic.
hell if this game had some sort of in game chat i would have some extra fun just by being nice. the funniest things i have experienced in online gaming is pissing off someone who was trying to be rude with being nice to them in chat regardless of what they were saying. rocket league was so much fun when i was into it because of that lol.
There are ways to make normally toxic actions into something silly or casual, but it requires the game to allow you to express yourself to that intention. I was winning hard against a Steven and he tbagged me on respawn, I tbagged back, we taunted, and then we dash danced to return playing. When we stopped rematching we toasted each other, so at least I probably communicated to them that I wasn't here to ruin their day.
If you're fine with being taunted after you lose that's okay... I just don't have a tolerance for it. And I don't really try to rile up or be mean to people unless they agitate me and I don't fully realize I'm suddenly acting that way. That's just how I am.
