What is going on with these bot lobbies??

I might be wrong, but i'm suspecting that when you lose like 2 or 3 times in a row against real players, the game makes it so that you HAVE to play against a bot and WIN, if you kill yourself to skip it, you're gonna get queued with bots until you win. I believe this is some sort of system that's supposed the player feel like they can actually win, but in my opinion; it's boring and wastes my time. I don't want to play against something that only recovers and rarely attacks. I really hope they fix this.

And more importantly this is clearly a dishonest practice, because nothing indicates that you are actually facing a bot and not another human. The goal is to deceive.

you're not wrong. 3 losses in a row puts you in a bot game. its very annoying and i wish there was an option to turn it off. i wanna get better, not be insulted.

And the bots are brain dead. Good for getting BP BS done but it feels SO cheap.

you can tell if its bots with 3 identifiers:
1. behaviour. theyre very stupid and often just stand there and let you hit them.
2. theres no option to toast them at the end of the match.
3. if you choose rematch, they ALWAYS say yes.

I know, but it's dishonest because the game makes you believe you're facing a human opponent.

Bots also never have a platform icon (which also applies to Steam users though). Bots do not display Badges but will always have cosmetics for their Banner and Profile Icon. They always have a Variant skin for their Fighter and a fancy Ringout.

I've lost a single match in 2 v 2 solo and then been given both a bot teammate and bot opponents. I have also grouped with a friend and we had bot opponents on our very first match-up.
