I'm sure there's also footage of the beta on the youtubez too. And yes the slowdown is about 30% like you said, plus I guess the buffer thing messing with responsiveness. Idk, its just overall not responsive and snappy like before.
I hadn't played the Beta since it shuttered so I'm mostly just estimating off of what I remember Garnet's combos sounding like. I'm not even using the same controller because now it's a King Kong 2 Pro and then it was a Dualsense so I can't really trust my muscle memory
I also play Smash and Brawlhalla as well (though neither lately) and nothing ever feels as responsive as Brawlhalla so I'm always a little jaded on responsiveness and what it should and shouldn't feel like

Ended up not mattering just a few hours later when I noticed I can swap dpad and stick and now just play with the dpad (old street fighter and koF habit. used to wish Smash would let me Dpad)
