Why is Joker 6000?

because the game is trying to squeeze more time and money out of you with the FOMO "hit with Joker's bazooka" weekly mission and the "play as Joker" rift missions.

Yeah it's a deliberate middle finger to free-to-play players. Nothing screams "Your not welcome" more then pay-walled missions.

Sure, but he's new and they don't want every new character to be free. They want people to spend at the end of the day.

Sure, but he's new and they don't want every new character to be free. They want people to spend at the end of the day.

That's why the shop is there with cosmetics. They don't even have a free base roster its just Shaggy.

I've yet to personally need Joker for anything. I have 100% every rift i've come along without needing him. So at least there is that. It feels more like if you have him then you can complete the rift slightly faster. If not then it's still doable.

Literally the first rift requires him for most of the missions. And a Weekly requires him specifically.

If they actually gave the currency to buy characters and Battlepass EXP every match LIKE THE BETA HAD then it would be different. But as it stands I cannot get a REQUIRED character for game progression.

yeah that changed sucks, hope they can change it in the future.. but still.. nothing is forcing you for stuff and nothign is required, you can just ignore the character and the missions

No I cannot because I do not know if I can afford to miss out on the MASSIVE Battlepass EXP boost from finishing my final Weekly. Missions are the ONLY way to get that EXP.
