I looooove game crashes!
I've been mentioning this in the Multiversus Discord server and i'm really tired of waiting for a response from the support ticket people so i'm gonna post about this here.
My problem basically is that the game crashes so often that i can't even play it anymore. It crashes when i start a level on rift mode, it crashes when i claim a reward, it crashes when i go too fast on the menus, it crashes when i finish a fight in rift mode and so on. I haven't tried playing online yet because i KNOW it will crash, the only time i did try to join a friend it crashed the moment the match started.
I don't know what i'm doing wrong. I have all the graphics settings on very low, i'm not playing with a controller or anything external plugged in that could cause it to crash and YET it STILL happens.
I've also tried every solution i've found online for this. Deleting the Epic Games (x86) folder, Uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting the folder in steamapps for the game before reinstalling, download the game on Epic Games. Everything.

I just really want to play this god forsaken game man, i'm so tired of not being able to do anything on it without crashing, at this point i'm starting to think it's my GPU but then again i could play the Early Access version very well with it as well as other 3D games like Little Nightmares. I don't know what more to do so i'm coming here for help. Any advice is appreciated
I'll leave my laptop specs down in case y'all need it

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz 1.99 GHz
Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620
16 GB RAM
64 bit Windows 10 system
Local Disc (C:) has 475 GB of storage (263 GB available)

Yeah i mostly assumed so, but even then the fact it could run the early access version with high graphics baffles me. I'll try to get the stupid GPU the game requires but it won't be easy LOL

Also baffles me that the game seems to run smooth before it crashes so idk

See if driver updates are around for it still.

Fun fact i just updated it and even then it crashes, so yeah i'll probably have to get another GPU. Though my friend has a less powerful laptop and he can play the game fine with no crashes so either the game is poorly optimized or it's definitely 100% my GPU

Sorry to hear it I wouldn't think it would need more power than you have more the game isn't well optimized for your onboard video. Since its got age on it.

Thank you, i'm just waiting for the game to get a patch which fixes this, if it ever does tho, for all i know the patch may not fix anything

the game now requires a lot more processing power due to changes to the engine since early access, you might just be out of luck on that one.

Ig you're right, but to be fair, the friend i mentioned earlier in the thread doesn't even have the minimum required GPU (He has an Intel Iris Xe) and he can play the game just fine with no crashes, i've looked up how powerful that GPU is compared to the minimun required one and it's pretty weak compared to it.
I obviously can't say i'm surprised at this point. I'll try to see if they put out a patch, if they do and the game still crashes on my end i'll just contact someone to install me a new GPU on my laptop. It will make it bulky as hell but i don't really go out with this one anyways so

So, a lot of people are looking at your hardware as the culprit, and yeah you might be running old hardware, that is true. But guess what? I am not. I am experiencing the same issues as you are. You still need to upgrade when you can if that’s something you want to do lol. But if they ever fix what’s causing the issue, you might still be in luck. I crash on startup, the menu, matchmaking, anything. Funny enough when I first launched the game it took about 2 hours of me playing before it happened. Ever since then it won’t stop misbehaving. I am running an RTX 3080 a Ryzen 5800X and 32GB of Ram. More than capable of running this game.

This game runs like complete trash even on the platform it was specifically designed for, console. It does nothing but stutter, skip and freeze. Might as well call it StutterVersus. Typical WB. I don't even want to try it on the PC. It ran like trash during the beta on PC too so.

Yeah i knew that the game crashed but i thought my situation was cuz of my GPU, really weird that the game also crashes like mine on your end when you have a pretty good computer. I'm not really surprised if the game isn't fully optimized honestly. That's why i'm waiting for a patch to see if it fixes it or not before i fully upgrade. I probably will upgrade anyways cuz i really need the GPU power but still.

The game ran well on my PC in the open beta, even in my old low end one, which is why i'm confused on why my Thinkpad can't run it anymore if it can run other 3D games. Though this really is a WB moment ngl

You know you can't but a GPU for a laptop right?

If it even has USB C I doubt it's fast enough for an external GPU in an enclosure, so you're only option is to buy a new computer; laptop or desktop.

Like you could maybe look into an eGPU but I wouldn't hold my breath
