Forced tutorials are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid!
I'm forced to go through the tutorial even though I was in teh ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ open beta and teh entire time I can't hear a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing because the game defaulted to the wrong audio device for some reason and I can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ change it because I can't get the ♥♥♥♥ out of the tutorial. I even force closed the game after the first fight and it put me right the ♥♥♥♥ back where I closed it

This ♥♥♥♥ is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid

tbh i appreciate the tutorial especially since it explains the dumb armor VS armor break mechanic, i knew that existed before but i was never sure how to tell what did it
I've got no problem with it's existence, it's the fact that I couldn't skip it that pissed me off; especially when I wanted to go straight to the settings and try to figure out the audio issue.

I would have happily went back and played it after figuring out the audio, adjusting controls, and setting graphics settings. (personally I knew about the anti armor thing because I play Garnet, so it didn't even teach me anything)
oh, yeah that i definitely get. Every game should let you fiddle with the options before throwing a tutorial at you

it takes 5 minutes.

Literally every game ever has a tutorial at the start. It takes 5 minutes if that. Holy ♥♥♥♥ quit crying

I wouldn't mind forced tutorials... If it didn't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ locked the ability to go into settings. Normally not a problem on consoles, but it's a big one on mobile and especially PC

First off, that's flat out ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ false. Just a glance at my games and I immediately see Cyberpunk 2077 that has a SKIPPABLE tutorial not to mention the hundreds of games over the decades that have jokes and memes in their options to SKIP the tutorials.

And who the ♥♥♥♥ cares if it takes 5 minutes when I immediately have issues I can't fix, or even find out I can't fix because the game doesn't let you open the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ options menu.

Given hundreds of thousands of people already played the ♥♥♥♥ out of the game, making the tutorial unskippable to begin with is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid design decision. There is no defending that, so why are you trying?

Add on top of that the fact that the player can't open the options menu AT ALL until the tutorial is done, meaning they can't adjust anything or check anything. and it's just even stupider design decisions.

You're going to seriously defend unskippable tutorials AND not being able to adjust options at all until the tutorial is complete?

I speak up instead of taking it lying down, because I'm not a little ♥♥♥♥♥ and devs need to be told when they make stupid choices.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EXACTLY!

They forced me to watch a bunch of ♥♥♥♥ I couldn't even hear. And I didn't even know there wasn't an option in the game to change audio devices until after the fact, so I had to sit through all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ only to find out I have no sound in game at all no matter what I do.

That's life (that's life)
That's what all the people say
You're riding high in April, shot down in May
But I know I'm gonna change that tune
When I'm back on top, back on top in June :)

Absolutely with you on this, throwing the player into gameplay as soon as they launch a title is my biggest gaming pet peeve. Going through settings is the first thing I want to do in anything I play, and it's just terrible practice to not allow that. Especially considering the default graphics settings may not be low enough for some rigs to handle.
