40 matches in and still fighting bots

I wonder how they thought they would hide this from us?
My wife and I have been playing a bit now, trying to give this trash heap a proper chance before passing judgment, but we are STILL fighting bots. We fought a 2v2 against one human and one bot. How do we know? well, if they are on the same platform as you, it doesn't show platform, then you just search for them on Steam. It was as predicted, one of the guys we found, the other was a bot. "AirFriendSheep720"

This is honestly so stupid and only attempts to boost endorphin levels of idiots that think they are fighting humans. Hell, I even had to educate Coney, a popular Youtube / Smash content creator that he was fighting bots, he had no idea.

Please take me back to the Beta days. Smooth fast gameplay, Leaderboards, post game stats, only fighting humans...a decent buffer system, the list goes on and on...

im sorry to say this but if u keep fighting bots it means u either playing offline or you ARE the bot ( no hate of course)

do you have crossplay turned on? you can see when you go against a person on epic, playstation and xbox. hope that helps.

its ez to see your playing vs bots after the match if your the only one to replay and it instant q. i constantly get mm fail then put in bot games. They are probably having a lot of server issues and instead of a q they put in a bot system.

Only my first match was with a bot. 2nd match I started getting real players. But I spent a few hours playing in the rift with those bots so that might be why I got given people so fast.

i keep playing against too it's quite annoying i don't know why because the game has a decent player base

Yes this totally makes sense. My wife and I, who are online together, signing up for 2v2 match making, are offline... some people don't think before they type.

FYI. you can actually go into the Social Tab and check people's Steam profiles. There are multiple profiles with "6456745687534565476" as their username. The one I spoke about in the OP also has this as a username. Wake up people.

You THINK you are fighting humans. Go to social and look at peoples profiles. WB are inflating steam numbers with bot accounts. Enjoy your Endorphins though, thinking you are sick at the game beating up bots lol.

Btw for those that can't read (most of you). My statement was not that after 40 matches, all have been bots, my statement is that random bot matches are sprinkled in and that sometimes it's 1 bot and 1 human (in 2v2). It's 100% happening. It wasn't like this in Beta, every opponent was human. It's not hard to see why they have done this. Even after the game dies again, they want the 200 people left to be able to fight opponents.

There's bots in the multiplayer game mode. Not encountered any today luckily but yesterday was a nightmare for it. At first I thought they may have done it to dampen the server load on launch but if OP is still encountering them I don't know why they have tried to put bots in and play them off like they are actual players. It's obvious when it's a bot because you demolish them with ease, you can't toast them and they don't show up in your recent players.
