for every new character you play there is a high chance most your matches are ai

I only had 3 games against bots and I played at least 20 games online. That's in order to match you with people of the same skill level.
I never fought bots again when I pick a new characters.

even if someone had a skill level of a blind limbless rat this is such a garbage decision it keeps people from improving and tries to sell a lie to the players to think they are good to spend money on the game ive seen people just run off the stage to end the match as quick as possible when they suspect they are against a bot

There are a maximum of 3/5 games against bots. You can do it in under 10mn if you're not one of the "limbless rat" lol
SF6 and few others fighting games also do it in ranked mode and I never seen someone complaining about that

It's a new generation of gamers. Not everybody playing this grew up playing smash bros and other fighting games like some of us. No you're not going up against bots in online matches, you're going up against LITERAL kids, folks that are new to fighting games, and other types of casuals.

The game is free, so you can expect tons of casuals the first couple of weeks and lots of kids because its free, it's colorful and has cartoon characters + comical violence.

I teabag to check if the other character is a player and I noticed that most of them teabag back and quit after winning/losing... so yeah, I think only the first matches are against bots, maybe there's a hidden elo? probably not. But yeah.

most pvp games like this have you face bots early on even tho it makes you think you are queing for an actual match. i assumed thats a commonly known thing. after a certain amount of matches it should stop unless playing during a time with very few players.
