Why is Multiversus dead?

well when i played cause of my mmr i waited almost 2 minutes per match, and 2 of 3 games the game was laggy

I don't think it's dead, but the reason why it has much less players than Fortnite is probably that it's not a "casual" game.

At the beginning it can seems that is a game for all (that's the reason of the initial succes), but if you don't take it "seriously" (try to get better day by day, accept loses against more skilled players, follow the community, ecc.) you'll soon leave the game.

I Personally think that this game is far more complex than it seems and i like so match the character's vaiety and differences of gameplay, I hope the "hardcore" gamers will continue to play for long time: in a game where a match with 4 players lasts 3 minutes (max 10 per set) there no need for lot of players in the server to have a short matchmaking.

I wouldn't say it is dead, but sure there are much less players than before. Aside from the dead/live discussion, I think the game has a couple of problems that cause players to leave:

* Main one is server issues, which are very annoying; no need to discuss further on that, but you lose a combat because you are teleported outside the platform or put you in a very unfavorable condition as to receive a killing hit, you press the juggle buttom and the game takes it latter enough to prevent you can escape from attacks, lags while playing, and a long etc.

* The lack of balance the game has. I played some matches where my rival just chased me along the screen with a given character (e.g. Harley Queen or Superman) and just hit me; I could not escape from them just because hits are so strong that you can't avoid them; not that my rival is that good, but instead I could do nothing because the lack of balance. Other characters just have long combos -infinite ones??- that take a lot of your life and no way to recover if you are not using a character with same feature. And the like.

These two reasons are the main ones for me to start lossing interest in the game. Then you can add some other ones to the list, but, in my case, they do not affect me.

The gameplay is unbearable alot of the time. There's a combination of lag that seems to reduce the player's percision and the hurt box of the adversaries and also probably some cheating from time to time on top of that. People will lose interest in the game like this.

yet is not a lie this game went from 100k players to 800 if thats not a dead game or a really bad dying game idk what it is, theres n ohype for it anymore and nobody is talking about it anymore people just dont give a ♥♥♥♥ about it anymore and thats good cause this game is bad

nah. it's obvious bait or you just cant catch a clue. The game has cross play and as you put it "blah blah blah." You're not just asking but this fake ignorance thing you do in all your threads isnt exactly some brilliant thing you just came up with.

No amount of you asking the same thing over and over and over is going to change the answers given to you.

Thanks for your input, I will take notes and collect more opinions. There's a lot one can learn from other people.

i think you zoomers could learn how to use hyperbole correctly, bc the game is " dead " when you cant find matches in a reasonable time.

unless you live in SEA, Asia, or in the middle of Africa, then there's no issues finding matches.

why does this game live rent free in you head? just go play ballhalla since your 3.6k hours deep into that trash. I get it multiversus is competition, but that doesn't mean you have to watch steam charts numbers everyday fully erect, praying that multiversus fails.

already failed but ok dude, a drop from 150k players to 800 on steam on consoles number is not that high either and the servers are still trash in season too pretty much game failed already
