theres no satisfaction to winning against a bot, winning against an a.i isn't exactly fun at all. and losing to one makes you realize "oh i'm worse then a robot."
Dude, you really need help. Like, I'm being for real. I wrote all that and all you got out of it is "fighting bots". Idk what issues you have but you really need to learn that losing is part of life and you don't get better unless you lose a lot.
I'm serious, get off this forum, uninstall the game, and please get some help. Get some off-screen time. Go for a walk, do jumping jacks in your room. Draw. I don't care. Just do something good for your mental health.
I mostly play these sort of games locally, glad there's no pay wall behind characters in this game when doing 1v1
Another option for more casual play is to just try and find people on your friends list, or online, that are also mode casual at fighting games
In matchmaking with fighting games, yes it's very competitive crowd.
Literally its quite impossible to enjoy something unless i'm winning at said something, and given the fact I suck ass at basically everything regardless of whether I try or not. It leads into an infinite cycle of me sucking ass and wanting to give up until I eventually do. I haven't played any kind of sport in ages given that nearly every time in the past I horribly missed and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up so many times to the point where people legit were getting angry because I suck ass regardless if it was just for fun. I have fun when I get lucky every 30 games and win a single match, its the only reason I play videogames at this point.
its hard to handle loses when every single match is a lose unless they literally just stand there.
You can't really complain about losing if you aren't willing to try harder. If you are too lazy to "Grind" anything, then all you can expect is losses. It's not that you suck, it's that you are about as skilled as the amount of work you have put in.
It wouldn't make sense if you could win, when you don't put in the effort and someone else does.
I think you just need to try committing yourself to something for once, instead of running at the first sign of failure.
Running away from everything, then complaining about not being good at things is not a healthy way to live. You are as good as you want to be.
Sure, if you were to put in 1000 hours and still be losing to people with 5 hours, then that would be a different topic all together, but I don't think that would be the case.
Meaning you have more chance to find a fair match.
If you don't find one right now u need to accept few losses so you'll get down the MMR and you'll get matched with someone that has your level.
If you want to get better you'll need to invest a bit of time. That's the nature of getting better in everything in life.
I know accepting loss is hard, but when you'll get your win you'll feel even better.
Also you shouldnt feel bad to play against AI, you can still have fun like this and learn the game like this.
In this at least you also can meet unskilled people since it s more of a party fighter.
THE FIGHTING GAME SPECIALLL
I'm sorry dude, you sound like you need serious help. U seem to have super low self esteem. You gotta lose a lot before you really start getting good at anything. You have to be wrong many times and accept that you're wrong and grow from it before you even start to become decent. That's just life. You really need to work on yourself and have better emotional intelligence and emotional maturity. You honestly sound like both a spoiled brat who needs to win at everything to be happy and also a pathetic sad boy who just wallows and cries "woe is me". Toughen up. Grow up.
There's no point in complaining tbh, if you'd actually focus a bit more during game and start thinking about it, 50% winrate+ is reachable by simple thinking while playing.
This isn't any different than any other genre.
Also you dont really need to know any combos. When i was newb to online fighting games i got to top xx in tekken without knowing any combos so you surely dont need any in MV
Here in MV im top 500 and i hardly know any combos
I started playing Tekken 7 just now. People playing this game for more than 20 years and I am only getting bodied. But I enjoy the learning experience. You, on the other hand, don't like to learn, You don't want to put in any work. You want an easy way out and that is not going to happen in any competitive game or activity.
Here is one of the most valuable tips I can give you. Cherish this if you really want to keep pllaying fighting games and maybe learn to enjoy them!!!
Don't make your enjoyment exclusively depend on your W/L ratio. Try to enjoy each single moment when you get off a combo, dodge, ring out an opponent or even when you get punished by something new. Value the learning experience because it makes you a better player.
Change your mindset! Even if this is easier said than done. Even working on your mindset will bring you more joy with the game.
