I don't know how seriously to take this post because this is the first thread related to hacking that I've seen, so naturally I'm a bit skeptical. My skepticism also stems from lots of people, in general, who cry wolf about this sort of thing.
Gimping people off the side of the map or spiking them down is not a rare occurrence for me at all. I also find myself commonly at high percentages 160+ with the enemy being terrible at knocking me out of the ring. The cool down mechanic that prevents the same move being used more than 3 times (within a certain time frame) could very well be responsible for most of these cases.
I gave you the benefit of the doubt and looked around for Multiversus cheats to see if cheating in this game is as prevalent as you claim. There is nothing publicly available.
All I can say is play 2 v 2's and see how much easier it is to play, do damage and get ko's... I know you could say well the other person is carrying you... While I started playing 2 v 2's to learn and level up other characters. I was playing 1 v 1's and winning most of games. i then went into playing 2 v 2's and still kept winning most of my games. But when open beta started I started seeing suspect stuff slowly over time that wasn't happening before open beta. I was still winning most of my games. I then levelled all the characters to 13 or above then went back to 1 v 1's...
So within those few days of not playing 1 v 1's nearly every game was sweaty cheese players running around and spamming. Or, very suspect stuff like being insta knocked out of arenas and people with insane dodge skills and move set ups to the point you literally can't do anything... Everything you do is immediately countered where it just feels like you're fighting a bot.
Do you guys just ignore all my reasoning for not providing video evidence?
lvl 0 steam accounts? how are you finding their steam account? Steam doesn't show multiversus in the recent players list, and multiversus doesnt show steam or epic profiles. Seems like this post is fabricated for attention.
Again if you think nobody could possibly be cheating in a week old beta of a smash clone you are wearing clown makeup.
Nobody is saying there are no cheaters. We're saying don't go witch-hunting without proof of witches.
Everyday, it feels like everyone is starting to copy literally everyone else~
Just like in real life.
It's either they spam the same exact moves like everyone else, or they are obsessed with only using attacks that give priority over others.
While the console players are using the same method they used back when they played GTA online- lag kill switch.
I'm kinda regretting for when ranked comes out, because then~ everyone will be playing the "meta"
Nobody is cheating, you just lack skill.
Grow up and face facts.
