I Uninstalled
I'm sorry to say but after yet another night of incredibly unbalanced characters, absolutely no MMR matching, seeing the same 6 characters over and over, double IG cheese, almost no BP progression, and numerous glitches[files.catbox.moe], I've come to the conclusion that Multiversus is just not a game worth investing time into right now. There are just too many issues to justify playing. Rarely do I come out of a match thinking "that was a good game".

Maybe it will be a good game after the hitbox overhaul, after ranked is added, and after more characters are introduced, but for now I'm done.

A few reasons:
Glitches[files.catbox.moe]
The game doesn't even work right.[files.catbox.moe]
Servers are awful.[files.catbox.moe]
Hitboxes are beyond stupid.[files.catbox.moe]
Dodge canceling is a mistake of a mechanic.[files.catbox.moe]

Double-IG is not cheese*. I guess you don't play any projectile characters? Who did you main?

*Single-IG is cheese. Having a non-IG partner buffs IG tremendously.

Understandable. It's very frustrating to play and enjoy this game with the current matchmaking.

I only mention this because I've been here semi frequently, but even I can't defend the shoddy state the game is in right now.

The ability to dodge cancel both into and out of any move is inherently problematic because it means no attack can be punished and often trying to punished a whiffed attack will lead to being punished instead. This is pretty well illustrated in the 2nd half of the "Dodge canceling is a mistake" clip.

I see Shaggy doing his kick from the air, I dodge backwards to space myself so his kick will miss and place him right infront of me to punish. But instead what happens is the instant he lands, he dodge cancels forwards into me with his upTilt. Meaning my attempt to space and punish him, is instead punished. It's worth to mention also that his hitbox happens before his dodge immunity is over. He literally moved into me with a hitbox active, while invincible.

So we ask ourselves, what WAS the play there? If that didn't work, what would have? Well the answer is... nothing. The correct answer was do nothing. Attempt to reset neutral where we both throw out hitboxes semi-randomly until one of us gets a hit. That's the problem. With the way the mechanics are setup, the defensive answer is usually to do nothing and reset neutral. Where neutral is throwing out canceled attacks/projectiles until something hits.

Your right and this is why i just play the game for fun. I don't think it will be a good game every, but here and there you can enjoy it, if you not caring losing or balance. It's just a game you pick up for fun here and there with friends. If you commit yourself playing this game 24/7 a day... well that's a misstake. Go play better competetive games.

its really just frame data adjustments, add more whiff recovery frames to some moves and its fixed.
which btw they have been doing in each patch. next patch, Bugs dair has more whiff recovery and less active frames on upair. Along with a bunch of other changes and first batch of hitbox reworks.


bruh ive been complaining about bugs mallet and bat for so long. This is fantastic news.

I mean duh...game is still IN BETA, thus glitches and bugs will show themselves more than when the game will officially go live.

Also the devs are actively listening to their players and fixing stuff each update so imo, you are just far too impatient until those get fixed or just attention hungry with this post.

MMR certainly seems odd, I played for like 9 hours when it came out and started playing again today for 2 hours and nearly all games are VS people Lvl30+ with thousands of KOs/character wins on their badge. :ralphhurt:

I also uninstalled but mostly bc the servers are very bad but there are also some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ characters like iron gian who in 2 v 2s is just one of the most annoying characters to exist but yeah for me right now at least the game is just not worth my time.

High level - he played a lot. It doesn't mean that he's any good. Only that he played a lot. You can be a high level noob with 5000 hours and 800mmr.
