Gamebreaking Issue

So my scanner and detector simply wont work leaving me stuck on multiple side quests and now a main one. Its frustrating to think a new character is the only way to fix the bug, considering i got 180 days premium package and battle pass while just finally getting over my first 200 hours in game. Ill simply have to drop the game and change my review if there's no way to fix it. I just after two weeks of trying to figure something out need to know if its fixable or no. I've already tried many, many things. ctrl+shft+window+b. Tried to reinstall. Reloaded the game with my items in storage first. Verify integrity. Tried multiple types of detectors. (elbrus and candle) and brought multiple scanners. I also cant get certain npc's to appear for dialogue such as elk for "romeo minus juliet." Any idea/answer at all would be greatly appreciated at this point. I'm too new and not very tech savvy honestly.

Hey! Do you know if they're charged or not? If they're not - you should charge them. Charging station is located near mechanic NPC.
Romeo minus Juliet is broken at the moment and we're working on a fix actively.

Yeah they're charged. I feel like I've tried everything possible aside from going into the game files and doing tech wizard type stuff lol

The very first time you ever had to use it they worked seemingly fine. But the scanner turns on, I'll try short or mid range, then when I start looking around with the detectors it doesn't pick anything up. Doesn't get that glow in the right direction. I tried the mission "no legs no can do" in poless for at least a liertal hour or more maybe. Going round and round the scanner circle. I've watched guides and read articles and it seems a few people had this issue in the past.

Based on what i read its definitely rare but very real still. Some people in those same threads said it fixed without them understanding why lol Anyway creating a new character seemed like way to hefty of a grind, also considering i dropped my last spend all money getting premium and the battle pass to get where i am so fast with the current guy. As far as clipping it though and posting it, i would be absolutely happy too, but don't know how. I'm sure i could figure that out though. Just never had to do it before. I had read some reddit discussions about people saying this issue happened on the stalker side but the bandit was fine and vice versa.

Yes of course lol I understand why the questions necessary though. Gotta probe everything. I don't think operator error is the issue anymore though after a bunch of trial and error.
