As for what the game is about? its got a storyline that is necessary to complete to move on to the end game content, and its pretty fun with some stand out missions (but also some BS bosses). When not doing the story you'll usually be clearing out mutant dens and NPC outposts to farm barter materials which you use to trade in for better guns and armor. Once you get further in the game there will be more barter materials and more ways to get them (such as using a metal detector, or open world PvP outposts)
each server can hold 30 people so multiple servers of the same zone will open when more people are in the same place
there are 2 starting opposing factions, end game there are 4
weapons and armor you craft will never drop, only crafting materials and vendor trash will drop on death.
open world mmo rpg fps pvp
fun but punishing. being mmo some of the fights will be imbalanced, but it goes both ways, sometimes you will outgear and fight people, sometimes they will
late game you will get punishment until you catch up to actual endgame master and upgraded gear and artifacts
good long term time sink game if you enjoy dropping hundreds to thousands of hours in games
Want to be able to kill them ? Either pay and get lucky from totally random lootbox, grind for years, or both :)
Not only the matchmaking is broken but even if you somehow manage to kill these players with ten times your playtime, you will get nothing.
Unlike games like Rust where you lose all your equipment, dying here only makes you lose your inventory.
Meaning that the attacker just goes out with ammo and medkits (worth nothing), kills you by surprise after you've been farming for a hour while you are fighting AI and steals everything with absolutely no risk taken.
Also balance sucks, only assault rifles are viable basically.
Some weapons are totally unplayable and for some reason you still have spread on shotguns when ADS with slugs.
I uninstalled.
