How to get hud back

Hitting F1 key toggles hud! Had the same issue

i feel so dumb that i had this problem for an hour lol

Many of the F-keys are hardcoded, but still rebindable in options meaning they all of a sudden did two things when pressed. I had all kinds of strangeness going on in the beginning until I learned this.
Try them all out and learn what they do
