Lost Backpack?

So I found some random backpack under a car, says "Lost Backpack (Belongs to Akaza)".

I can't put it in my inventory and can't seem to sell it anywhere? The fudge do I do with this thing?

You found someone's lost backpack. You can't do anything with it, aside from send it back to them, auction it back to them, or sell it to the fence.

If sold to the fence, is it worth any? Otherwise I might just try and send it back I guess

The value of the bag is completely dependent on the contents inside. It needs a LOT to be worth anything, because I think you only get like 10% of its worth. I don't know the actual math, but most bags I've picked up, had like a max of 96 rubles, which is nothing... I always send them back, never auction them. I'm not in this game to be a ♥♥♥♥. If I beat someone, they get their bag back. I just enjoyed the fight.

If you use your PDA and go to your profile page there is a magnifying glass on the top left that you can use to search the owners name. If they're of my faction I tend to just send it back to them via mail. If they're from the opposing side I will put it up for auction.

Fencing it is absolutely not the thing to do, especially if the bag has quite a bit. You are effectively making that persons grind a waste of time by fencing that. At least giving it or putting it up on auctions gives them a chance to get that time spent back. lol

I still don't see how it can be sold when it can't be placed in your inventory.

Only the owner of the lost packs can "Unpack" them. Hence why you are able to sell them or mail them back.

Is it by any chance a big green backpack? Has what looks like a trailer on it? If so, I think that is a contract backpack. Not entirely sure what happens if someone dies with that on, it says drops on death. Never died during a delivery though.

If its a Delivery pack from one of those side jobs. Take it back to whoever does them for the place your currently at and you'll get rewarded. I think you can also deliver it to the NPC who it is for? Unsure, I've only ever returned one to the Delivery guy at the Bar.

Lost backpacks are useless u get them from PvP cant open them ...
Auction them so no one buys it ... only the owner of the backpack can open it ... so WHY auction it ?

Send it back to the enemy u killed ? wow much usefull PvP

PvP is only to ♥♥♥♥ up people !!! U never get much .. you kill one get Ammo and Med the other one looses everything

Why should u give a lost backpack BACK to enemys .. so why PvP in first place ...

If the guy who owns it really needs those materials, they'll buy it back lol
