I've been playing doing the first quests out of memory from the demo and translating via google translate.

In the game it says they can be found at agropom AND at the dark valley , but I've searched every possible spots and bases at agropom and did not get a single metal detector *bleep*.

Seems like they can only be found at dark valley which I never visited I guess , and the copper ones at the garbage !

Aluminum should be in the agroprom. I advise you to look near a large anomaly at the fault (it sends waves into the sky and is visible from afar). Of course, you must have a metal detector with you

You can't find them, because someone has found them before you. Wait until they will respawn.

Look like I'm the unluckyest person on earth then ... I already have more than 12 hours in the full game and spent at least 2 to 3 hours rotating the map and nothing , thanks for the tips tho I will keep looking !

OR buy aluminum cable from auction and convert it into 20 aluminium wires. His cost ~28k rubles. On future, you can buy all resources from auction.

You need to press right mouse button on the item itesf and choose an option "conversion" or something like that, maybe it will be translated as "transformation"
