There is a quarantine server for the russians so you don't have to worry about having to deal with them unless they've escaped and are on the main servers. RU server is very different from the main servers though, there Exbo nickle and dimes the playerbase all they can with lootboxes with weapons and gear paywalled.

yes, menus and quest dialogue are all in english. all voices are russian but with english subtitles (apart from the tutorial, if I remember correctly that's actually got English dialogue but its kind of hillariously bad). I play on EU servers and most of the chat is in english.

There is English support, you don't have to worry about it, they can help you if you need it!

The EU servers are like 80-90% Russian/Ukrainian players
quests are all translated except a few missed spots so the story is English supported
but the single player is not what this game is for, its a multiple pvp game with some story on the side.

English speakers are rare
not sure about NA

I played on both EU and NA depending on what friends are online, and yes. they are equally populated.

No gear is paywalled on the RU server

No gear is paywalled on the RU server

Most of the best gear and best attachments are obtained from lootboxes on the RU server. Exbo tried to do the same ♥♥♥♥ on the global servers but was, unsurprisingly, unsuccessful with its implementation because only idiots actually buy into that crap. Its why we don't have access to any of the special stocks, handles, foregrips, or the Saiga 12 silencer. Its why Exbo will steal items from the players on the global servers if it means making RU players happy.
