why arent my controls working when i click f to pick up the artifact in the tutorial i cant when i try to aim i cant can somebody help?

If your system is set to a language that doesn't use a QWERTY keyboard layout and you have a QWERTY keyboard, that's the only thing I have ever had happen to me in a game. It was Dark Messiah, the game was made in a French studio and for whatever reason the game would cause your system to switch languages without actually updating it in the system, as in, you'd still see English, but the layout of the keys would be reset for French typing layout so the key strokes would be in the completely wrong place. So whenever the bug first occurred, I genuinely thought the game had broken my computer cause nothing I tried to type worked. It was a pain to fix because I no longer had the use of the keyboard to navigate system settings, nor did I even know what the setting was that had been changed. The bug is so bad, it could almost be considered malware imo. At least the game was good when it worked right.
