How do you drop an item from your inventory

I feel pretty dumb, I right click the item and there is no option to drop. I looked at the controls and I dont see a keybinding sooo.. .wtf is it just a bug?

Edit: not sure if it matters or not but I am still in the tutorial

Hi!
You can throw away items by right-clicking on an item and selecting “Drop”. However, please note that items which have lock and chain icons in the top left corner cannot be thrown away, these items can only be deleted by right-clicking on them and selecting “Delete”. When you choose to delete an item it gets placed in a special separate inventory where it will stay for 7 days before being wiped out from existence. You can access this inventory by clicking on a trash bin icon in the bottom right corner of your regular inventory. Additionally, quest items (those that have a lock icon and a blue border around them) cannot be deleted or thrown away.

The problem with that is when I right click, there is no option to delete or drop an item

Follow up, it turns out in the starting area, there is no option to delete or drop items. so FYI if you go over weight you are ♥♥♥♥♥♥

Why the hell did you not add a option to drop items in starting area i am moving slower then a god danm snail

how do we destroy quest given guns ? they dont have option to be destroyed. there is a lock icon on these weapons.

You can’t delete quest items and weapons that come from quests. However, you have plenty of space in your Personal storage that can be accessed from any base at the bottom of your inventory window, so you can store everything there. There’s plenty of space in it and you can unlock additional shelves by reaching max reputation level with each base.

How do you pick up all the guns in the character creation tutorial? Personal storage is not usable and you cannot drop any guns to make room.

so i am gonna say my bullet PDA... i have LONG finished that quest.. i have the shotgun and everything i am in the bar pretty deep.. still have this in my inventory..

i cannot right click delete it,

i cannot use the little garbage can on the bottom right

and yes it does have the lock on the top left.. but i have no need for it anymore

What genius thought of a great first impression to a game would be to not allow us to drop items and crawl at 0.01 m/s would be fun. Easy uninstall.
