First things first, container effectiveness only affects how quickly your artifacts lose their charge. This stat had quite a limited effect which was barely noticeable, so pretty much think of this stat as being removed. The stat that you should look at is inner protection as it reduces how much infection from your artifacts you get in the end. For example, in a container that has 60% inner protection, if you have an artifact that has +2 Bio infection, you’ll get only +0.8 Bio infection.
And while backpacks received container slots they:
1. Lost stamina increase, so they now only provide increased weight.
2. Have 0 inner protection, forcing you to use a counter artifact. On the other hand, the Hellboy backpack, you’ve mentioned, has 50% inner protection, giving you more leeway in choosing what to put in.
The Ghillie suit. Yes, movement speed bonus was reduced but food items now give you different buffs as well. Just eat a can of “Benis” beans and you’re good to go! Each food item DOESN’T overwrite the other one and they stack with other consumables.
As for the shotguns…Saiga does perform better in PvP overall now but is rather lacking in PvE. While it is intended to move Saiga to a “PvP shotgun” category, the devs will take another look at where it’s at soon.
