First impressions of the new balance update.
It seems like the EU servers, (and maybe NA too) have been changed to the same as the RU servers.

The overall damage and bullet resistance changes to guns and armor is probably a good change, and from the bit I have played so far, it doesn't ruin anything and getting headshots still results in very quick kills.

But, some of the changes are very weird and some outright bad.
The fact that all backpacks and such can hold artifacts is just bad, if its to make artifacts more approchable for new players then there should be made a beginner hellboy backpack instead, because now the actual hellboy is just useless, the tri-zip is just better in every way and can be made to hold much more than the hellboy.
But the dumbest change is the effectiveness changes, litterally EVERY SINGLE ITEM HAS 100%!?! Why even have the stat at this point, it makes no sense at ALL!
Also, all movement speed penalties have been removed, why? They were fine and made sense, want to carry a very large artifact backpack, then you have 2 or 3% slower movement.

On the other hand, the Ghillie changes are just the wrong way around, it was the only armor that any meaningfull bonus movementspeed, and that has been halved, which feels weird like the devs doesn't want agility/speed builds...

A lot of this we will probably get used to, but the backpack/container changes and ghillie changes are straight up bad design, they remove freedom and player choice from the builds you could make before.

Update: The Rate of fire nerf for shotguns are horrible, this makes them not really worth much, they already werent great in PVP, so why nerf them?
If the rate of fire was the problem, then upping the multiplier for mutant dmg, and adding a zombie dmg multiplier could help, but returning to the old rate of fire would be better.
Shotguns were never prefered in PVP, so the nerf was unwarrented and just makes PVE farming more teadius.

Hi!
First things first, container effectiveness only affects how quickly your artifacts lose their charge. This stat had quite a limited effect which was barely noticeable, so pretty much think of this stat as being removed. The stat that you should look at is inner protection as it reduces how much infection from your artifacts you get in the end. For example, in a container that has 60% inner protection, if you have an artifact that has +2 Bio infection, you’ll get only +0.8 Bio infection.
And while backpacks received container slots they:
1. Lost stamina increase, so they now only provide increased weight.
2. Have 0 inner protection, forcing you to use a counter artifact. On the other hand, the Hellboy backpack, you’ve mentioned, has 50% inner protection, giving you more leeway in choosing what to put in.

The Ghillie suit. Yes, movement speed bonus was reduced but food items now give you different buffs as well. Just eat a can of “Benis” beans and you’re good to go! Each food item DOESN’T overwrite the other one and they stack with other consumables.

As for the shotguns…Saiga does perform better in PvP overall now but is rather lacking in PvE. While it is intended to move Saiga to a “PvP shotgun” category, the devs will take another look at where it’s at soon.
