New tier bracket?

So i basically have blue everything. Will buying and adding a purple attachment put me into a new tier bracket? not tryna get run into end game players rn

It's mostly bound to "gearscore", nobody knows what the breakpoints are. If you feel you need a better gun get a better gun.

i think those so called tiers is a myth my gear score is around 393 i have seekers ak +10 from quest soviet bag with blue +5 artefacts and that rad suit blue one. I keep meeting players in full pink +10 sometimes players even with red equipment. I do have kill death ratio at 1.5 or so and every time i go out im outnumbered and outgeared more or less. Those tiers is a myth. Visited blackwater few hours ago met guy with pink exoskeleton +7 and Red FN2000 +10 no way in this world there is actual tier system in place

No, attachments, melee weapons and containers (but not what's in them) don't affect your placement in the distribution system. Additionally, the gear score number you can see in your inventory is a remnant of an old system and isn’t used currently, so right now it’s just an arbitrary number.

I have a kda ratio of something like 0.3 and run into the same people so I don't think it's that either.
