Suggestion - Longer 'Safe' Period & Flanking Routes at Transition Areas
Players need to have a decent amount of time to learn to play the game and build up their gear before being introduced to factions and pvp. The intro quest is excellent, but the second you get past that and add pvp in, quest progression quickly gets halted by campers and many ppl quit out of frustration. An extension to the 'safe' part of the game would likely help mitigate this issue.

Actually solving the issue is much harder tho. To be frank, stalker faction players are sitting ducks compared to most bandit players. This is likely because there's a clear incentive for pvp focused players to join the bandit faction. Having bandits and stalkers start on opposite ends of the map so that their 'newbie' zones are harder to access for the opposing faction could be a good compromise, but it may not be worth the work. I'm sure many players have the 'get good' mentality when it comes to this, but frankly, this is more about numbers and persistence than skill. A relatively small group of players can halt progression for everyone through an entire area for hours by camping at any area transition choke point. That is not good pvp balance or map design.

This brings me to my actual, more realistic, suggestion for this particular issue... Flanking routes for all choke points between transition areas on the map. It's a much more practical and reasonable method to mitigate the issue and on top of that, it will make pvp more fun and less camping prone in those areas.

This community is such unproductive zero-iq trash it's nice to see real input like this.

If you've ever been to the underground metro in the army warehouses, you'd know that the game COULD have something like this and it could be controlled just as it is there. Not part of the covenant? Let us introduce you to turrets you can't do anything about and that kill you almost instantly. This would prevent people from camping the flanking spot and make them have to think a little clearer, because yes I agree, choke point camping has to go.

Honestly, I find camping would be boring. If anything they would implement a system to make it more interesting like punishing the players of both sides who kill them a lot by being hunted down by powerful NPCs would effectively discourage doing PVP or camping in the places that they would hide, and this would force the campers to leave their area as soon because of the NPCs. The effect of being hunted is permanent so even when they died either by a player or the hunting NPCs, the timer would still be in effect until it eventually wears off

Let campers deal with a fracture or burer that come sprinting at them at 25 mph

much more better if there's new npc faction of bounty hunters or death squad and if they killed their target ends up looting their body/disappear their item

Trigger their arrival based on the amount of value in player bags you've looted or created via killing

Problem is you swap your gear and this asinine garbage stealthy instance system of theirs throws you into a different server than your murderer.
