Guard (Boss at the Radar)
Is nobody going to talk about the obvious problem with this battle, there's a difference between hard and outright impossible, the boss has some specific weakspots that aren't always easy to aim to, but that's not that bad, the bad part comes when it gets to the infinite snork spawns, in the time you destroy one of the tubes you have to destroy, more snorks spawn which will hinder your attempts at destroying all 3 before he regens them again, and if you focus on just destroying the 3 tubes, you'll have to deal with a group of snorks which will just kill you as soon as you have to reload if you even get a chance to

I got the best results focusing the tubes down first then taking down the snorks. M1A made it not too bad to deal with.

I mean, you're looking at it from the "I did it, so it shouldn't be a problem for anyone else" point of view, there's no reason why bosses should be bullet sponges that can one hit you
Yeah the boss is stupid difficult I agree, the only advise I could give is similar to the other guys advice. But I heard about someone using the RPK and that really helped, having lots of rounds without reloading makes destroying the tubes easier.

But yeah I totally agree, the boss is way too hard.
Nah, guard is easy.

Reason is it's actually a boss fight compared to Minstrel/Final swarm fight.

You just need to run to the side when they are charging at you and you shoot up their fricking tubes. They run at you again, rinse and repeat.

When they fire their jet beam at your face, same tactic, you can even get close and personal with them when this happens.

When thye start healing with massive snork spawn, which is just 6 of them at max, you just have to run around and take quick aim at the electric sources Guard is using to heal. Surely you can tank some damage from those snorks?

After that, you can kill the snorks while avoiding the charges of the Guard, and then repeat the entire fight until he dies.

...That's it.

Compared to minstrel, he's an actual boss fight that gives you a lot of breathing room and an actual fight instead of a one sided nonstop sprinting beatdown. Final boss fight is FAR worse because of 20-30+ snork/bloodsucker spawns that spawns nonstop, or like 20+ chimeras, bloodsuckers, snorks, and pseudogiantS with a solid S.

First phase is doable with the help of your allies, second phase needs to be cheesed and abused as hell by being in the spawn spot to avoid the massive swarm of snorks and bloodsuckers that can kill you, plus the fact that 75% of the map will be swarmed with endless electricity field after you reached like <30-50% boss hp... For some reason, this was seen as a 'boss fight' by the devs.
Wait, so you're saying that the guard isn't even the final boss yet?
This game sucks

Well he is sort of the final boss, he’s definitely the harder of the two/three.

skill issue
weaken each of the healing beam tubes with a few shots while running from the snorks, but dont immediately kill any of the tubes. then you can have a better chance at rapidly killing all 3 tubes so a replacement does not activate. with the healing beam phase defeated clear the snorks. you can also try to bullfight toro the monster into crashing into the wall so it has a slight stunned time sitting still, magdump into one of the glowing blue bits as much as you dare and then dash away. it will still take you a few tries but keep these principles in mind and you should be able to manage it
