Orderly vs Blessed?

Is there any real difference in the storyline choices? I'm at the kil/save Linden part and wondering what the major differences are.

I don't know about later down the line, but an immediately impact is if you choose to save him, you become hostile to that npc group permanently, i.e., they attack me on site in dark valley but not my squad mate that chose the kill option.

I saved him, but a partner killed him and a cinematic came out

These can actually impact alot in the final quest like how saving him would help alot in the final part, not spoilering though but basically those small things can give you up to 20 bonus upgrade items

Wooo guess I did the right choice saving him - I was thinking it tbh...felt like the choices in STALKER and being a "Blessed" doesn't seem like all that bad a thing.
