Won't get the artifact if it is in a container though. So even that point is moot.
The PvP "Battle sessions." make sense because they are planned/you gotta get to them and be geared for them. Having frothing mouthed people just sitting at choke points of people doing story missions is nothing more than a way to dissuade people from playing the game. I was lucky and got to where I am with little player interaction, but I see the ingame chat all the time "Fck, ggu, fjg, tdmait!" <--- censored for your viewing pleasure.
Yeah people are only in areas with traders right near the zone. Imagine going into a territory in the north with no trader and having to run back to the bar...now you'll understand PVP. :P
Then the solution is simple. Make the later game pvp, leave the lower game to PvE to allow people to gear for the later game. It's quite the nuisance to be farming something to upgrade, get shot, the person can't do anything with it, so it just impedes your progress. If the money is so good later, why grief people at lower level? Hence OP's original statement. "What is the point of pvp.?"
You can gear while being full PVP'd, you know that right? You only lose materials and some ammo depending on what you're carrying around. Maybe learn to do events near your ally base first and be more careful in enemy territory.
I still don't see the problem, PVP is there for people to defend their region & get some reward if the guy/gal has zone mats on them.
"You can gear while being full pvped." "You only lose materials." How do you gear again...materials? I rest my case.
Not sure what is so hard to follow, this game doesn't punish you by losing your guns/armor etc, so it's pretty simple to gear up.
